Now Available: Cotton Gloves for Machine Quilting
Quilting
by machine is a lot faster than quilting by hand – but it's not necessarily
easier. Getting a good enough grip on the quilt to guide it through the machine
took all of my strength. I'd finish with sore shoulders and arm, wondering if
quilt-wrestling could be a new Olympic sport. Then I noticed that most
quilters on the internet use gloves. Now I use them all the time.
Machine-quilting still requires some strength but the gloves make it a whole lot
easier. The Quilt
Center now sells cotton
tricot gloves with non-slip fingers and palms. The price? 5.00 NIS . You really can't beat
that.
